Andrew Ellis Farmer is a native of East Tennessee and has been practicing law for 6 years while the office has close to 30 years combined experience. He also serves in the Tennessee General Assembly as Representative for the 17th House District in East Tennessee being elected into office in November 2012. He attended East Tennessee State University where he received his Bachelors in Business Administration. He studied law at Canterbury University in Christchurch, New Zealand and Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan earning his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in International Law. While attending Law School, Mr. Farmer worked with the office of the Public Defender in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He completed his post graduate studies in Knoxville interning for the Supreme Court of the state of Tennessee. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Knoxville Bar Association, and Sevier County Bar Association.
